Fay, you will be missed so much by the 'brats'. You showed them kindness and showered them with 'gifts' at times when it was not necessary; even if it was a raffle prize you had won from the Treetops Xmas party or BBQ. The kids remember the times you had them while I worked and especially the trip to Go Bananas. Still think you were mad to do that in half term! Again they were spoilt afterwards with the run of Tesco's!
I know at first hand how hard you worked to get back into nursing; I was your return to nursing mentor at Treetops. Your courage at not letting anything get you down was enormous and nothing stood in your determined way. Your knowledge and thirst for knowledge was outstanding. I shall miss your stories too.
Sending my thoughts to your family,
Sharon Jacobs (RN Treetops).
